Aintree takes centre stage in November jumps reshuffle
The Haldon Gold Cup is among the races being transferred to Aintree, while Sandown switches to an all-hurdle card and two more jumps fixtures join the calendar.

Aintree will stage an additional jumps fixture on Friday 6 November as British racing reorganises part of its early-November programme following the loss of meetings at Exeter and Wincanton.
The BHA confirmed the changes on 27 October. They turn Aintree into a two-day meeting and retain several races from the abandoned fixtures, including the Haldon Gold Cup, the Boodles Rising Stars Novices Chase and a three-mile-one-furlong handicap chase.
A new entry is needed for the transferred handicap
The immediate administrative deadline concerns the transferred three-mile-one-furlong chase. Its original entries have been cancelled under the BHA's policy for transferred early-closing Premier Handicaps. Trainers must enter again for Aintree by noon on Saturday 31 October; an original entry is not enough to secure a place in the new race.
There is a further change within Aintree's own programme: the Class 3 novices' limited handicap chase originally scheduled for Saturday moves to Friday. That makes it important to check the revised day, rather than rely on an earlier version of the meeting's racecard.
Sandown, Plumpton and Uttoxeter also affected
Sandown's Sunday 8 November meeting will be an all-hurdle card, with two new hurdle races replacing the abandoned chases.
In a separate announcement on the same day, the BHA added seven-race jumps fixtures at Plumpton on Thursday 5 November and Uttoxeter on Saturday 7 November, with support from the racecourses and the Horserace Betting Levy Board.
These announcements establish the revised racing opportunities, not the eventual fields. Final entries, declarations and any further programme changes should be checked against the official racing administration information.
