Dundalk's meeting on Friday 20 November will include an extra seven-furlong nursery handicap, according to Horse Racing Ireland's current RÁS noticeboard.

HRI says the race has been added at the request of the Irish Racehorse Trainers Association. It will close for entries on Monday 16 November, alongside the rest of that meeting.

The details to note

The additional contest is identified as race 357H. The published notice gives its weighting notation as 80 = 9st12lb and links to the detailed conditions. Connections considering the race should use that official document to check eligibility rather than treat this summary as the full race conditions.

The announcement adds a race to the existing Dundalk fixture; it does not announce a separate meeting or a change of raceday. The date to keep in view for an entry is 16 November, not the race date four days later.

The notice identifies the new opportunity but does not name a confirmed field. Entries and subsequent declarations remain separate stages, so no horse should be described as a definite runner on the strength of this announcement alone.

The information above was checked against HRI's live noticeboard on 30 October. Any later programme amendment should be checked there before making racing or travel plans.
